SIGNS THAT YOU NEED A FURNACE REPAIR

When your system stops working entirely, your system obviously needs work. Other problems can also indicate that you need heating repair, including high energy bills, difficulty keeping a consistent temperature in your home, short cycling, low air-flow, and more. If you notice any of the following signs, your HVAC system would benefit from maintenance. Call us for furnace repair services today!
  • Strange Noises - Your heating system should not be making noises other than regular operating sounds. Strange noises such as rattling, banging, or buzzing can indicate internal damage to your heating system. This can be avoided with regular heating maintenance services.
  • Frequent Cycling - If your furnace is turning on and off multiple times a day, there could be an issue. The fan motor and other components in the heating system use a lot more energy starting and stopping than they do simply running which is why short cycling requires attention.
  • No Warm Air/Low Air Flow - If the heater is blowing cool air instead of warm air, your thermostat could be faulty. It could also be a more serious issue that requires an inspection. If there is low air-flow, there may be a blockage in the system making it harder for your furnace to do its job.
  • Dust Accumulation – If you’re noticing an increasing amount of dust accumulation, could be due to your furnaces filter. The filter removes air particles, dust, pet hair, and other substances. When it is dirty it can no longer capture dust and those particles circulate throughout your home instead. A dirty air filter puts unnecessary wear and tear on your heating unit.
  • No Recent Inspection - If it has been a while since you have had your heating system inspected, it is time to call for heating service. Routine maintenance will help your system operate at optimal performance levels.
